Visually,the external appearance is exceptional,and particularly internally,is also in an exceptional condition/state of preservation and presentation for a book of it's age and nature, i.e. a children's book.It is only the minor,minimal faults described that prevent a slightly higher grading for overall. Despite that,it really is still an exceptional, exemplary example for it's brightnesss, cleanliness and lack of other usage or age-acquired detracting faults commonly encountered in a children's book of this age,it has obviously been and remains well cared for.

Originally published in 1962,'Henri's Walk to Paris' provides a colourful,romantic,and unique story with the clever graphic strokes and iconic look of master graphic designer Saul Bass. Saul Bass (1920-1996) was a celebrated American graphic designer and filmmaker.He designed and created some of the most memorable logos and corporate indentity campaigns of the 20thC, including AT&T, United Airlines, Quaker Oats, and Minolta,to name only a few,He is also well known for his design of motion picture title sequences.During his sixty-year career he worked with some of Hollywood's greatest filmmakers, including Alfred Hitchcock, Otto Preminger, Stanley Kubrick, and Martin Scorcese.Among his most famous title sequences are Preminger's 'The Man with the Golden Arm',and Alfred Hitchcock's 'North by Northwest' and 'Vertigo'. Leonore Klein was a former librarian who wrote several children's books in the 1960's and 1970's.'Henri's Walk to Paris' was Saul Bass's only illustrated children's book.
