Despite that,it really is still an exceptional, exemplary example for it's brightnesss, cleanliness and lack of other usage or age-acquired detracting faults commonly encountered in a children's book of this age,it has obviously been and remains well cared for.   'Henri's Walk to Paris' is the charming story of a young boy who lives in Reboul.France, who dreams of going to Paris. One day,he decides to pack up a lunch and head for the city.During his walk he gets tired and falls asleep under a tree. And this is when Henri's walk takes him in quite the different direction.   Originally published in 1962,'Henri's Walk to Paris' provides a colourful, romantic, and unique story with the clever graphic strokes and iconic look of master graphic designer Saul Bass.        Saul Bass (1920-1996) was a celebrated American graphic designer and filmmaker. He designed and created some of the most memorable logos and corporate indentity campaigns of the 20thC, including AT&T, United Airlines, Quaker Oats, and Minolta,to name only a few,He is also well known for his design of motion picture title sequences.During his sixty-year career he worked with some of Hollywood's greatest filmmakers, including Alfred Hitchcock, Otto Preminger, Stanley Kubrick, and Martin Scorcese.Among his most famous title sequences are Preminger's 'The Man with the Golden Arm',and Alfred Hitchcock's 'North by Northwest' and 'Vertigo'.              Leonore Klein was a former librarian who wrote several children's books in the 1960's and 1970's.'Henri's Walk to Paris' was Saul Bass's only illustrated children's book.
